What is Big Data? Big Data is one of the most frequently used terms when we work with marketing. But what exactly is Big Data, and what does the term encompass? This is one of the most common questions I encounter when teaching at Aarhus University or when I’m out with companies reviewing their strategies.

Everyone talks about data, looks at data, and mentions it casually in meetings or over coffee with colleagues. But how do you actually use it? And how do you analyze it without getting overwhelmed by the vast amount of data we collect today? These are just a few of the questions I’ve gathered over the past 10 years.
